Ben Lawers

Taken from Cam Chreag in Glen Lyon. While I was resting at the cairn I moved my arms from behind my head and was startled by a noise behind me. A stag had wandered up towards the cairn and my movement had panicked it. On the way down I found a Red Grouse nest with 8 eggs.

By Morris: Based in Bucks I wish the hills were nearer. However the photos are a great reminder of many happy "Bagging" days in your company
By Barbara R Jones: I was on Ben Lawers many years ago, and just loved the alpine plants growing on its flanks.
This is a great image, a wonderful vista, and finely composed. Love those clouds !
